Hello Friends,
I would like to share some things with you today to encourage you and lift you up.
Our God is a God of increase. He is interested in our life increasing in every area. God’s plan is never for less: Whether it is in Health, Provision, Peace, Protection, Deliverance, or Answers. His plan is for increase! He has given us all we need to succeed- Gave us His Life, His Word which is the Word of His power. Gave us His very Holy Spirit. Poured out His Mercy on us. Opened up the avenue for us to receive His Grace and His Love.
Ie. As an auto mechanic someone could: Buy me tools. Give me a shop. Money. Location. Even though all is provided, I still have to do the work. But not on my own because all has been given. With God it is even greater because His provision works with us. We are not left alone. His plan is increase and He works with us, and we with Him for it to come to pass.
Psa 115.13-15 “He will bless those who fear (reverence) the Lord, The small together with the great. May the Lord give you increase, You and your children. May you be blessed of the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth”
Increase! This is to be blessed- empowered to prosper in any aspect of life. God is a God of increase. He wants us to increase, to progress in life, in all aspects! May you be blessed- Who? You who reverence, respect the Lord. Our God is a God of increase!
Psa 84.6-7 “Passing through the valley of Baca (weeping), they make it a spring, The early rain also covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength, Every one of themappears before God in Zion.” Even in a time of weeping, sorrow, and stress, the person who looks to God and makes Him their strength will increase in victorious power. Progressively growing more and more! The blessing of the Lord provides this.
Passion Translation: “….they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring.” It is up to us to dig deep into our inner man, our spirit where the life of God resides. There is a brook of blessing waiting for us in all situations, a rain of refreshing in place of the pressures of life.
Psa 16.11 calls this the Path of life. This is the path we want to be on. Our enemy, Satan, puts up obstacles on the path. He does not want us reaching the goal. To walk with the Lord, on His path, we are a threat to our enemy. But God has increase on the path waiting for us.
2 Cor 9.8 says God makes all grace abound so we can have all sufficiency for all good deeds. Supply and multiply, that is increase. Psa 92.12 The righteous man will flourish like palm tree; He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
To flourish is to thrive, increase, grow luxuriantly, abound, to be in a prosperous state. Comes by seeds of life sown. All that we do from the heart is seed. This is what produces a flourishing because righteous do righteous things. Jesus said in Mat 6 that giving is a Righteous act.
God is all about increasing, abounding, flourishing, moving upward. If our eyes are off the Lord and back on our own ways we will move backward. We won’t go forward, over the top in any area, if moving backward.
The Lord wants us to abound, flourish, increase, so we can be a blessing to others in every type of good deed. The more we bless others in any type of good deed the more God will give to us. He told Abram “I will bless you and you will be a blessing” God wants to meet our needs in any area of life w/plenty left over to bless others in a greater way. This is the true essence of Kingdom living. Progress, advancing, increasing, living over the top. As much as we can, in Him, step up further in life, we must learn to sustain this position of blessing.
1- Stay in Faith. 2 Remain focused on the WOG 3 Don’t allow surrounding world events to distract you.
Remain on the path and you will reach the goal.
